This is the first appointment you will have with me, and it can take up to 90 minutes. Prior to the appointment, I ask that you fill out the new patient forms and review the practice and privacy policies. You can click here to download a copy of these forms. During this appointment, we'll be talking a lot about your symptoms, and I'll be asking a lot of questions about your personal and medical history. At the end of this appointment, I'll discuss with you about what I think is going on, and we'll come up with a treatment plan together. This treatment plan may include medications, psychotherapy, lab testing, and lifestyle and nutritional recommendations. This appointment can be done in person at my office or via telehealth. For telehealth appointments, I use the secure online platform doxy.me. An initial appointment does not guarantee that we will keep working together, and if your needs exceed my ability to help you, I may refer you to a higher level of care.

These appointments are 1 hour long, and these take place after the initial psychiatric evaluation and we've decided together that you would benefit from continuing to work with me. These appointments consist of exploring your evolving symptoms, how recommendations have been working for you, and insight-oriented psychotherapy. These appointments can also include further medication, lifestyle, and nutritional recommendations and are normally done over telehealth but can be done in person if requested. The frequency of these sessions vary depending on your individual needs, incorporating the severity of your symptoms as well as your financial situation.
